Licensed Cannabis Dispensaries in Capital District

The Capital District directory lists 70 licensed, operating adult-use dispensaries, drawn from the New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) license file and last updated November 4, 2026.

Albany County has the most stores, in Albany, Colonie, Menands and nearby communities. Licensed stores also operate in Schenectady; in Rensselaer County, including Troy, Rensselaer and Schodack; in Saratoga County, including Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa and Halfmoon; and in Warren, Washington, Columbia and Greene counties, in places such as Glens Falls, Greenwich and Hudson.

Stores hold either a standard adult-use retail dispensary license or a Conditional Adult-Use Retail Dispensary (CAURD) license. Browse by city below, or search by ZIP code.

Before you visit: adult-use purchases are limited to people 21 and older, and stores check government-issued photo ID. Licensed stores post OCM's Dispensary Verification Tool, a seal with a QR code you can scan to confirm the license. Hours come from state records, so call ahead to confirm.
